So why the change of name?
Our once Vietnamese street food menu has now evolved over the years into an award winning selection of Minh’s family recipe inspired dishes. The four bowls' menu is styled around comfort and sharing and is more aligned with our exciting future plans.
And why four bowls?
Inspired by mealtimes with his now family of four, their four bowls filled with nourishing food and bold flavours; four bowls brings to you their favourite family recipes from Vietnam and China, new food discoveries and everyday dishes they have come to love.
Only the things in the background which prepares us for the exciting journey ahead. All our classic dishes remain on the menu so you can still have your 'go to' and favourite meal with us or try out something new on the Thursday night take away offering.
Four bowls will continue to find amazing cafes and venues with character and pop up in them. In the evenings, we will transform an existing daytime space into a buzzing restaurant, serving our family home-style food of summer rolls, steamed bao, noodles, rice and much more!
The food at four bowls will still, in large, remain based on family recipes which Minh’s parents can take most credit for!

As a result the menu is primarily Vietnamese with strong Chinese influences. It is the food you'd expect to see at family homes across Vietnam and China, yet unique in the sense that each dish tells their own story of provenance and flavour given Minh's individual history and family lineage.
Every Thursday 6-9PM:
We will focus our craft on just 2-3 dishes with new exciting flavours.
Dishes will rotate weekly and will available for Take Away only.
